Over a dozen young entrepreneurs on Thursday 13th October participated in a sensitization workshop organized by the Gambia Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. The participants who are all members of the Gambia Youth Chamber of Commerce were trained on the Competition Act 2007, the Consumer Protection Act 2014 and the Essential Commodities Act 2015. In his welcoming remarks the Director Consumer Protection Department GCCPC Basiru Njie noted that youths have the potential to be the drivers of sustainable development and economic growth.
